More than three weeks ago (May 14 to be exact), we sent a public records request to Buckeye Lake Mayor Rick Baker asking for copies of the claimed improvements to the fire department. Part of that request was for copies of the applications for part-time employment with department received since 12/31/12. Toby Miller responded for Baker, providing most of the documents by May 18. He promised the applications on May 20-21.
To date, we haven’t received the first application and a follow-up email to Miller on June 4 hasn’t been answered. It should only take a moment to remove Social Security numbers and home addresses from copies of the applications. So what’s the hold-up? What don’t they want us to see?
