Viola K. Kyle

A funeral service for Viola K. Kyle, 76 of Hebron was held March 30, 2013, in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Irene Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery.

Mrs. Kyle died March 28, 2013 at the Arlington Care Center.

She was born December 7, 1936, in Ben Rush, WV, to the late Oley Jobe and Rachel G. (Collins) Snyder.

She was a member of the Old Country Church and had previously attended Soul’s Harbor Apostolic Church. She was active in the Licking County Jail Ministries for over 15 years. She also volunteered with Nursing Home Ministries, Food Pantry and Kid’s Camp Café. She was a songwriter and musician. She sung Gospel music in Nashville and at many area county fairs. She had been employed with the Licking Memorial Hospital Housekeeping Department.

She is survived by her son, Charles E. (Connie) Kyle, Jr. of Heath; daughters, Deborah A. (Gary) Linger of Tipton, MI, Karen L. (Brent) Crabill of Heath, and Vera S. (David) Kirkbride of Baltimore; grandchildren, Craig (Michelle) Kyle, Cara (Adam) Porter, Ashlee Crabill, Jordan Crabill, Morgan Kirkbride and Brooke Kirkbride; great grandson, Austin Kyle; brother, Donald E. Snyder of Hamilton, WV; sister, Ilene (Harry) Walton of Jacksonville, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Stonesifter; and brothers, Delmar Snyder, Kelly Snyder and Virgil Snyder.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the staffs of Arlington Care Center and Hospice of Central Ohio for the loving care of their mother.
