Veryl I. Coulter

Private services will be conducted by the family of Veryl I. Coulter, 79, of Kirkersville, who passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, in Middletown.

He was born Sept. 20, 1928, in Elwood City, Pa., to Hiram Leon and Edna (Reno) Coulter. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, retiring as a major. Veryl enjoyed his gardening and flowers once he was retired.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon (Crosson) Coulter, in 2004; his parents; children, Cheryl Lynn Coulter, Terri Lazaruff and Veryl Irvine Coulter Jr.; sister, Dorothy Gardner; and brother, Laird Coulter.

Veryl is survived by his son, Lee Frank Coulter; daughter, Misty (Scott) Teets; and grandson, Gregory Ryan.
