Verlee H. Davis, 61, of Heath, passed away October 11, 2014, at his residence. He was born on March 16, 1953, in Grenda, Virginia, son of the late Hayes and Inez (Davis) Davis. Verlee was a “handyman” who could fix just about anything. He enjoyed rabbit hunting and fishing. He attempted to be a deer hunter, but didn’t find much success. Most of all, he loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.
He is survived by his loving family: wife, Pam; sons, Chuck (Janet), Andy (Rhonda), and Aaron (Lacey) Davis; daughter, Colette Chamberlin; 16 grandchildren; three brothers, Gary (Vickie), Tyrone (Cleo), and Roger Davis; two sisters, Rita (Ilui) Enriquez and Diane (Alan) Schultz; mother-in-law, Pat Galleher; sister-in-law, Marcia Caudill; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ed Patterson.
A funeral service celebrating Verlee’s life was held October 15, 2014, in the chapel of the Hebron home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial followed in Hebron Cemetery.
