Treva J. Friesner, 83, of Lancaster, passed away May 5, 2017, at the Homestead Center. Treva was born June 10, 1933, to the late Wesley and Nellie Mae Schryver in Baltimore. Treva did officework for many different churches throughout her life. She was a longtime member of the Fairfield Christian Church in Lancaster. Treva loved her church and was known by many as a people person. She also loved her kitchen. The biggest love of her life was her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She was especially proud of her 40 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with two more on the way.
Treva is survived by her loving husband, Paul; daughter, Jill; sons, Steven (Patricia), Chip (Marcia), and Vince (Paula) Friesner; her 40 grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; sister-in-law, Elsie Friesner; special friends, Bob and Sally Roberts and family, the Penix family, the Huddler family, Jan Ellinger, and Bonnie Whittington; and many nieces, nephew, cousins and many loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Stewart Friesner; brothers-in-law, Leo Friesner, and Robert Fletcher; sister-in-law, Genny Fletcher; and numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held May 10, 2017, at the Fairfield Christian Church, with Pastors Mark Barbee & Ken Mulpas officiating. Burial followed at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Baltimore.
