Serving all the communities of the Buckeye Lake Region

Thomas Lee Clark

Thomas Lee Clark, age 81, of Buckeye Lake, died November 11, 2014, while taking his daily walk. He was born April 1, 1933 to Everet and Agnes Clark.

He was an altar boy, attended Aquinas Catholic School, a 1950 graduate of Mifflin High School, and attended OSU. He was an Army veteran serving at Fort Campbell, KY, and Fort Bragg, NC, with both the 11th and 82nd Airborne Rangers. He later was a jump instructor. He was married in 1953 to J. Rochelle Renollet and fathered three children.

After serving his country, Tom worked at and retired as plant manager at Franklin Steel Treating. He enjoyed playing and watching golf, football and basketball. Tom spent the last 18 years at Lake Erie as a charter boat captain and was fondly known as “Sasquatch”. He had been fishing through the end of this season. He loved this, and spent his life around water – Lake Erie for fishing and the Buckeye Lake waterfront at home.

He is survived by his sons, Christopher and Stanford; two grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives; and his daughter, Catherine.

Family will receive friends Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd.), Gahanna.
