Thomas A. Taylor

Thomas A. Taylor, age 73, who lived most of his life in Lancaster and currently of Millersport, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born July 30, 1945, in Frankfort, Kentucky, son of the late William A. and Marie A. (Vogler) Taylor. He was a US Army veteran and was a graduate of the University of Maryland. Tom was a CPA and owned Pizza Crossing restaurants in Marysville, Carroll, Lancaster, Logan and Nelsonville over the course of 40 years. He was an avid golfer, loved the outdoors, and especially loved time spent on the water.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kathy (Stedman) Taylor; children, Erin Barlow, of Presque Isle, Maine, and Christopher (Somer) Taylor, of Obetz; grandchildren, Anthoney and Serena Taylor; and sister, Gerri (Dan) Perkins, of Sanibel, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents; and son-in-law, Chris Barlow.
A Funeral Mass was held September 6, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sugar Grove, with Fr. James Walter, Celebrant. A private inurnment will be held Friday at Kirkersville Cemetery.
