Just wanted to say thanks to whoever is responsible for getting the drift fence installed along Millersport Road north of town. It would be hard to count all the accidents and spin-outs that have occurred on that stretch over the years.
The new snow fence did a great job keeping the ice from forming on most of that wind swept highway. I know there are other roads that would benefit from a fence like that and folks need to know how it could implemented. Any one know?
Regardless I and many in the community are grateful it was done. Thanks again!
Editor’s Note: You can thank your new Fairfield County Commissioner Dave Levacy for the fence. He ‘put a bug’ in the county engineer’s ear and the fence was installed. That’s just one of the benefits of having the first in memory county commissioner from the lake area.
