My name is Teresa Stevenson and I am currently the Perry County Auditor. My 26 years experience in the Auditor’s Office serving as Deputy Clerk, Interim Auditor, and then Auditor provide me with the background knowledge needed to operate the Perry County Auditor’s Office.
My husband, Dean and I are life-long residents of Perry County, and raised our three children, Joshua, Valerie and Tracey (Jeremy) Field here.
We are members of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and members of the Perry County Farm Bureau and I am a former board member of Department of Developmental Disabilities.
As the Auditor I serve as the Chief Fiscal Officer, Chief Assessor of the County and Chief Payroll Officer. I am also the sealer of Weights and Measures of the County to insure everyone is protected on their purchases of the weight and volume.
As an elected official one of the things you want your county auditor to do is follow Ohio law and to carry out the duties of that office. I will not compromise on taxes owed and due to the county for properties that are delinquent with penalties and interest.
I value and appreciate holding a position of public trust and answer directly to the voters of Perry County. I welcome your support because I have proven through my hard work and determination that I am dedicated to the people of Perry County. I believe I have the integrity, knowledge and motivation to remain your Perry County Auditor.
