Spay/neuter clinic set




NEWARK – The Licking County Humane Society has received a one-time anonymous donation to spay/neuter cats in Licking County.

The donation will help lowincome families with the cost of altering their cat. In addition, anyone caring for a stray cat in the community may sign up for this clinic. The Columbus Dog Connection, a mobile spay/neuter clinic, will visit the humane society on February 12 and will spay/neuter 50 cats.

The cost for each cat is only $15. To be eligible for this clinic, a person must stop by the humane society at 825 Thornwood Drive in Heath, complete required paperwork and prepay the $15.

The following documentation will be accepted to verify income status: Section 8 Housing Voucher, Schedule Letter from Ohio Works First, Ohio Medicaid card, letter from Veteran Benefits Administration acknowledging service-related disability, Ohio Direction card (food stamp program),WIC card, Social Security Income or Disability benefit letter. The clinic is available on a first-come, first- serve basis.
