A celebration of life service for Shelby Jean Daniels, 75, of Millersport, will be held Friday Aug. 22, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Vineyard Grace Fellowship, 4905 Jacksontown Rd., Newark, with Pastor Brad Kittle officiating. Burial will follow in Thornville Cemetery.
Jean entered heaven on August 18, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 7, 1938, in Newark, to Wilma Jones and the late Wayne Jones Jean attended Vineyard Grace Fellowship, graduated from Thornville High School in 1956 and was a member of the Thornville Alumni Association. She attended Ohio University, owned and operated an antique shop and cafe. Jean had a passion for antiques and her grand and great grand children. Most importantly, she lived her life in the devotion of her Savior, Jesus Christ and had an overwhelming love for her family. She will be deeply missed and her memories cherished. She is survived by her mother, Wilma Jones; her three children, Kimberly (Kelly) Daniels, Michael (Jennifer) Brunn, and Jeffrey (Theresa) Brunn; her 10 loving grandchildren, Jason, Niki, Scott, Jennifer, Amber, Joshua, Ashley, Afton, Jessica and Jordan; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Mohler; and brothers, Robert and William Jones.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Daniels; and a sister, Carolynn Brown. Calling hours for friends will be Friday from 10 – 11 a.m. at the church.
