Robert Edward Connors, 58, of Thornville, passed away February 11, 2013, at home, with his family. He battled cancer for almost four years and was a testament to the human spirit. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, on December 15, 1954. Bob enjoyed his work as a self-employed contractor and gentleman farmer.
He is survived by his loving family: long time love, Pat; five children, Thomas (Stephanie) Connors, Kristina (Milo) Bullock, Jim (Diandra) Connors, Will Kohr and Patrick Kohr; eight grandchildren, Kendra “Ears” Woltz, Lilly Connors, Milo Bullock, TJ Connors, Ella Connors, Bryar Bullock, Allison Connors, and Robert Connors; and two brothers, Joseph Magee and Tom Connors.
In addition to his mother, Elsie Marie (Magee) Schaeffer, he was preceded in death by his beloved Polar Bear.
A memorial service, celebrating Bob’s life, will be held at Noon on Saturday, February 16, 2013, in the Thornville home of Hoskinson-Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 S. Main Street. Services will also be conducted later at the New York State Fair in August.
