Richard Arlan Napper, 53, of Whitehall, died suddenly March 9, 2010. He was born August 8, 1956, in Coshocton, the son of the late Sherman G. Napper Sr. and Anna Mae (Shuman) Napper. He was a retired concrete worker who loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and playing poker.
He is survived by his sons, Richard (Donna) of Newark and Robert of Johnstown; his daughter, Julie of Newark; his siblings, Ida Payne (Tony) of Whitehall, James
Barb) of Fredericktown, Barb Whitehead (Raymond) of Summerfield, FL, Mary Kay Moore
Tom) of Baltimore, Kathy (Ted) Klema of Thornville, Sherman G. Jr. of Summerfield FL and April Napper of Key West, FL; his former wife, Pam of Johnstown; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services celebrating his life were held at the Hoskinson Funeral Home on March 13, 2010, with Pastor Steven Shaw as celebrant. Burial followed at Jersey Cemetery.
