Raymond F. Snelling, 89, of Lancaster, formerly of Baltimore, went home to the Lord on Thursday, January 12, 2012.
Raymond was a member of New Zion United Methodist Church in Baltimore. He was a retired farmer and worked many years for Lancaster Poultry. He also enjoyed being a referee for chair volleyball.
Raymond is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Larry Magley; son, Kenneth
Snelling; granddaughters, Peggy Searles and Linda (Terry) Corbett; grandson, Joe (Kenda) Finnefrock; step-grandson, Rick (Tammie) Magley; 9 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Ireta Snelling; and his parents, Frank and Margaret Snelling.
Funeral service was held January 16, 2012, at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster, with Pastor Rick Stuhmer officiating. Burial followed in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster.
