Buckeye Lake

• March 24: A Hebron Road woman said her roommate stole her ATM card and withdrew more than $300 from her account.

• March 24: A Highland Avenue woman reported that her boyfriend assaulted her. He said he was pushing her away from him with his fist.

• March 25: A Walnut Road man said someone entered his trailer without permission. He wanted the person charged with trespassing.

• March 27: A driver was cited for traveling 49 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Mill Dam Road.

• March 27: A driver was cited for traveling 57 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Mill Dam Road.

• March 28: A driver was warned for speeding on Hebron Road, but cited for not wearing a seatbelt.

• March 28: A Duke service station employee said a customer prepaid $20 for fuel, but gave the attendant the wrong pump number. The customer then pumped $29.35 in gasoline and drove away.

• March 30: A Walnut Road man said someone punched him in the face, also damaging his glasses.

• March 31: A Walnut Road woman reported that someone stole her medication from her car.

Hebron
• March 2: Police took a report after a customer left without paying for ammunition at Buckeye Outdoors. Police had all his information since he also had purchased a firearm at the same time. He also left his cell phone on the counter which was collected as evidence.

• March 2: A man reported losing his wallet in the Kroger parking lot on January 28.

• March 2: Police stopped a driver after dark for no tail lights. The man initially gave police his brother’s name until police told him he was wanted on four warrants. He then retracted that information and provided his own name. He was driving on a suspended license and was wanted on a Newark warrant. He was arrested and turned over to Newark Police in Heath. He will face charges in Hebron for driving under suspension and obstructing official business.

• March 3: A Thornville mother asked police to speak with her unruly eight-year-old daughter. Police spoke with her and she agreed to try to act better.

• March 3: A driver was cited for going 75 mph in a 50 mph zone on Ohio 79 at US 40.

• March 4: Police took a report about someone passing several bad checks at Park National Bank.

• March 4: Police were dispatched to a Broadway Street apartment on a report of a suicidal woman. She had reportedly called several friends and told them goodbye. The woman was not in her apartment. Police and a Union Township officer checked the area and found her on the steps of a church. She was upset because she lost her job and was being evicted from her apartment. Police gave her some numbers to call for assistance and she headed back home.

• March 4: While conducting random license plate checks, police stopped and cited a driver for driving under suspension.

• March 4: A driver was cited for going 72 mph in a 50 mph zone on Ohio 79 at US 40.

• March 4: A driver was cited for excessive speed and driving under suspension after being stopped for going 64 mph in a 50 mph zone on Ohio 79 at US 40.

• March 5: A driver was cited for a stop sign violation and travelling left of center on West 2nd Street at Cumberland Street.

• March 5: Police assisted a motorist in a disabled vehicle on northbound Ohio 79 until a tow truck arrived.

• March 5: Police are still investigating a burglary at a Lakewood Drive apartment.
