Buckeye Lake

• Aug. 15: A Creno’s Pizza employee told police a customer was unruly – yelling and threw a pizza on the floor. The person was identified through surveillance camera footage and information from employees. Cameras also recorded the person’s license plate number. An officer contacted the man, a Hebron resident, who admitted to being at the pizza shop earlier. During the process of identifying the customer, the officer found the man was driving with a suspended license. The man was charged with disorderly conduct and DUS.

• Aug. 15: A Walnut Road man said someone used his Social Security number and other personal information to try to obtain a credit card. The complainant added that he was able to get the illegal card application rejected.

• Aug. 15: A driver was cited for failing to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

• Aug. 17: Police were dispatched to the North Shore Boat Ramp on a possible assault on a female. The female said she was in a fight with her boyfriend who had left, but said it was only a verbal argument.

• Aug. 18: A Walnut Road woman said her ex-boyfriend called her in violation of a civil protection order. An officer found the CPO had expired. The woman was advised to file for a new one.

• Aug. 18: A W. 1st Street woman said someone vandalized her vehicle.

• Aug. 18: A Neel Avenue resident said someone illegally dumped trash on his property.

• Aug. 19: A driver was cited for traveling 47 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• Aug. 19: A driver was cited for traveling 46 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• Aug. 19:Police responded to a theft complaint, where an intoxicated woman told the officer her son removed her false teeth, glasses, and purse from her residence. The officer noticed she was wearing both her false teeth and glasses, but the purse was actually missing. She did not want to file a report. Parties were advised.

• Aug. 19: Officer advised of two people arguing outside of a Neel Avenue residence.

• Aug. 20: A driver was cited for traveling 50 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• Aug. 20: A driver was cited for traveling 64 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• Aug. 21: A driver was cited for traveling 46 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• Aug. 21: Police assisted the teeth, glasses, and purse from her residence. The officer noticed she was wearing both her false teeth and glasses, but the purse was actually missing. She did not want to file a report. Parties were advised.

• Aug. 19: Officer advised of two people arguing outside of a Neel Avenue residence.

• Aug. 20: A driver was cited for traveling 50 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• Aug. 20: A driver was cited for traveling 64 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• Aug. 21: A driver was cited for traveling 46 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• Aug. 21: Police assisted the Buckeye Lake Fire Department.

• Aug. 21: Police assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol at an accident scene.

• Aug. 21: A Mill Dam Road man said someone stole a lighthouse ornament from his front yard.

• Aug. 21: A Duke service station employee said someone stole several cigars from the store.

• Aug. 22: Officer investigated a 9-1-1 hang-up call from a Highland Ave. residence. A resident said her little sister dialed it. Parties were advised. Buckeye Lake Fire Department.

• Aug. 21: Police assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol at an accident scene.
