Buckeye Lake

• April 7: A W. 1st Street woman said a woman came to her house and refused to leave when told to do so. The woman who was told to leave fell off the porch during the incident. She was advised not to return to the residence.

• April 7: A Leroy Street man returned tools construction workers left in his driveway.

• April 7: A Columbus man said he couldn’t remove his jet ski from a marina and had a disagreement with the marina owner. Police told the man it was civil matter and he would need an attorney.

• April 7: A Worth Drive resident said she was locked out of her house for the fourth time this week. The fire department helped her into her home, but an officer spoke with her landlord about the incidents.

• April 7: Police responded to a 9-1-1 hang-up call from a Union Avenue home. Children were playing with a phone.

• April 7: A juvenile was warned not to shoot a paintball gun at a dumpster.

• April 7: A driver was cited for traveling 47 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• April 9: A Worth Drive resident said she was locked out of her residence for a fifth time. She was advised to contact her landlord and to stop abusing public services.

• April 9: A driver was cited for traveling 46 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• April 9: A driver was cited for traveling 46 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• April 9: A driver was cited for running a red light and driving under suspension.

• April 10: A driver was cited for traveling 48 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• April 10: A driver was cited for traveling 46 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• April 11: Police responded to a report of two juveniles fighting in Ryan-Braden Park. The juveniles claimed they were just wrestling. Other juveniles confirmed the claim.

• April 11: A driver was cited for traveling 50 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• April 11: Police received a report of juveniles in the roadway who would not move for vehicles.

• April 11: Officer called for back up when a man, with whom the officer was familiar, began threatening the officer. The man left when back up arrived.

• April 12: A suspicious person in Wendy’s parking lot was intoxicated, but polite and cooperative. A Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office deputy gave him a ride home.

• April 12: A driver was cited for traveling 47 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• April 12: A driver was cited for traveling 48 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• April 12: A driver was cited for traveling 49 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• April 13: A Walnut Road man wanted police to document an argument with his daughter.

• April 13: Police assisted Hebron Police with the arrest of a person in violation of a civil protection order.

• April 14: A driver was cited for traveling 46 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

Hebron

• March 24: Police made a traffic stop on Ohio 79 at US 40 and cited a driver for going 76 mph in a 50 mph zone.

• March 24: Police were called to Vance Outdoors on a report of a domestic dispute behind the store. Police found the female half who said she and her boyfriend got into an argument with her mother who left them there. She said everything was OK now and they were headed to the Kroger store to get a ride.

• March 24: Police made a traffic stop on Ohio 79 at US 40 and cited a driver for going 65 mph in a 50 mph zone.

• March 25: Police checked out a complaint about loud music at a Broadway Avenue apartment. They didn’t hear anything at the scene.

• March 26: Police made a traffic stop on Ohio 79 at US 40 and cited a driver for going 71 mph in a 50 mph zone.

• March 26: Police assisted the Licking County Sheriff’s Office by responding to an alarm drop at an O’Neill Drive building. Everything checked OK.

• March 26: Police assisted medics at a North Maple Street home on a possible need for a forced entry. An elderly woman was seen lying on the floor. The woman’s husband eventually let them in.

• March 27: Police took a report after an Ohio Metal Technology employee reported that a window was broken out of her vehicle while it was parked overnight in the company lot. Her purse was taken.

• March 28: Police checked out a report of a rolling domestic dispute on Ohio 79. Police found the female half at the Speedway station. She said it was just verbal and that the male half had left the area.

• March 27: Police assisted Buckeye Lake Police with a civil standby on Rosebraugh Circle due to a history of violence between the occupants. The female half retrieved her belongings without incident.

• March 28: Police made a traffic stop on West Main Street at Lakewood Drive. The driver was ultimately charged with OVI and driving under suspension. Police discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The vehicle was impounded.

• March 28: Police assisted Buckeye Lake Police with an active domestic dispute on 7th Street.

• March 28: Police responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls from a North High Street address. The calls were coming from a malfunctioning emergency line.

• March 28: Police are investigating a complaint from a Canal Road apartment resident who believes her ex-boyfriend dumped trash and broke beer bottles all over her apartment while she was gone.

• March 28: Police made a traffic stop on East Main Street and cited a driver for no operator’s license.
