Buckeye Lake

• Jan. 20: A driver was cited for traveling 51 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• Jan. 21: A Seymour Avenue woman reported footprints surrounding her house and she thought someone tampered with her windows.

• Jan. 21: A Seymour Avenue woman said her brother entered her house without permission. She didn’t want to press charges, but she wanted her brother to know he couldn’t barge into her home anytime he wished.

• Jan. 21: A PetPlex employee reported receiving a bad check.

• Jan. 21: A Cranberry Lane man reported an injured cat. The cat was taken to resident Bonnie Mansfield’s home until a veterinarian was contacted.

• Jan. 22: A Lake Street woman reported a black jeep was turfing a field. The jeep owner was advised.

• Jan. 23: A driver was cited for traveling 46 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• Jan. 23: Police assisted the Buckeye Lake Fire Department with a possible morphine overdose. The person was revived, but was verbally threatening. He was transported to Licking Memorial Hospital.

• Jan. 23: A Walnut Road man reported he was assaulted.

• Jan. 23: A West 2nd Street man said his ex-girlfriend refused to stop texting him. She was advised to stop.

• Jan. 24: A Highland Avenue man said he wanted a person removed from his home because he believed the person was selling drugs.

• Jan 25: An officer assisted a state park officer with vehicles that had fallen through the lake’s icy surface. Everyone was retrieved from the lake and at least one person transported to Licking Memorial Hospital for possible hypothermia.

• Jan. 25: Police responded to an alarm drop at the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club. Everything checked secure.

• Jan. 25: A Hebron Road man said a downed telephone line cracked his vehicle’s windshield.

• Jan. 27: Police checked on the welfare of a Park Street resident, who volunteered to be transported to Licking Memorial Hospital.

• Jan. 28: Police checked on a loud music report on Walnut Road. Resident was advised.

• Jan. 28: A Lakeside Drive resident asked police to check on the home of a friend who was out of town. The resident noticed footprints in the snow surrounding the house. An officer determined an AEP meter reader made the footprints.
