Buckeye Lake

• Nov. 5: A Hebron woman reported a man whom she couldn’t identify assaulted her.

• Nov. 5: A Family Dollar employee spotted a Walnut Road woman shoplifting clothing. The woman was cited for theft.

• Nov. 6: A West 5th Street woman told police she suspected an acquaintance stole her cell phone.

• Nov. 7: An officer cited a motorist for going 49 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Walnut Road.

• Nov. 7: An officer cited a motorist for going 50 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Walnut Road.

• Nov. 7: An officer cited a motorist for going 48 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Walnut Road.

• Nov. 7: An officer cited a motorist for going 54 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Walnut Road.

• Nov. 7: An officer cited a motorist for going 51 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Walnut Road.

• Nov. 7: A cab driver informed police of a disturbance at a Walnut Road residence. A man’s caregiver was intoxicated, causing problems, and not cooperating with the officer upon arrival. She was charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

• Nov. 8: Police assisted Hebron Police with a BAC test.

• Nov. 8: An officer cited a motorist for going 52 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Walnut Road.

• Nov. 8: An officer cited a motorist for going 49 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Mill Dam Road.

• Nov. 8: An officer cited a motorist for going 51 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Mill Dam Road.

• Nov. 8: An officer cited a motorist for going 50 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Mill Dam Road.

• Nov. 8: An officer pulled over a 1st Street man for equipment violations and found he was driving under suspension. His vehicle was impounded.

• Nov. 10: An Albanese IGA employee spotted a woman shoplifting a liquor bottle. She was cited for theft.

• Nov. 11: Police arrested a Cranberry Lane man who had a warrant for his arrest out of Licking County Municipal Court.

• Nov. 11: Police assisted Buckeye Lake Fire Department with a squad run.

Hebron

• Nov. 1: Police were called about a vehicle being driven recklessly on Ohio 79. Police stopped the driver who said her son was acting up and causing her to swerve a few times. The driver was warned.

• Nov. 1: A driver was cited for a stop sign violation at Cumberland and South High streets.

• Nov. 1: Police responded to an alarm drop at Brad’s Recycling. The building checked secure.

• Nov. 2: A Lakewood Drive mother reported a fight with her 16-year-old son over the weekend. He left to stay with friends. When he returned on Monday, the fight restarted and he left again. His mother suspected that he was at his girlfriend’s home and police found him there. He was brought home and it was mutually agreed that he should stay at his girlfriend’s with her mother’s permission.

• Nov. 3: Police assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a tanker trailer that overturned on the entrance ramp to westbound I-70.

• Nov. 3: Police took a theft report at the Duke station after a manager discovered that a clerk had been scammed by a customer who claimed she gave the clerk $50 and was shorted $20 in change. The clerk’s drawer was short $20 at the end of his shift.

• Nov. 3: A security officer at Harry and David’s told police that a customer wanted to report credit card fraud. Police had already spoken to the complainant and told him to make the report to his local police department who would forward the complaint to them.

• Nov. 4: A 5th Street resident told police an unknown vehicle had run off the road, striking her mailbox and destroying it.
