Serving all the communities of the Buckeye Lake Region

HER SHIP HAS COME IN- J-me Braig, executive director of the Greater Buckeye Lake Historical Society, happily waves from the deck of the Salt Fork Queen – soon to be the Queen of the Lake II following renovation – as it’s pulled to a temporary dry dock at the Buckeye Lake Marina. The 55-passenger, 46 foot pontoon boat was purchased at Salt Fork State Park. It will be refurbished and used for tours of Buckeye Lake. Braig hopes to have the boat back in the water by early July. It will be docked at the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club’s Eastport dock. Braig thanked Bill Ours, owner of Ours Towing in Hebron, who donated the use of a tractor and trailer to move the massive pontoon boat from Salt Fork to the Buckeye Lake Marina.
