A funeral service celebrating the life of Pauline Trimmer, 98 years old, of Millersport will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at the Family Church, 13475 Tollgate Road, Pickerington, with Dr. Tim Burden and Dr. Scott Kelso officiating. Friends may call on Saturday between 12pm and 2pm at the church. Burial will be at Union Evangelical Cemetery.
Pauline was a retired cook with Millersport School District with 14 years of service. She was a graduate of Etna High School, a lifetime member of the Trinity Church where she was the former organist and Fairfield Medical Center Twig #13 for 30 years.
Pauline resided in Millersport with her husband Nelson for 70 years. She was a member of the Lancaster Old Car Club, a seamstress for the Millersport Minstrels and for all her grandchildren, and a member of the Pickerington Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her son, Nelson Don (Jeri-Lynn) Trimmer of Franklin, Tennessee; daughter Pamela S. (Scott) McIlwain of Pataskala; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; twin sister, Marvine Weaver of Amber Park, Pickerington; and many nieces and nephews.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Lee Trimmer; parents, James and Maude Shimp; three sisters; three brothers; and granddaughter, Kimberly Joy Clayton.
Memorial gifts may be given to Trinity @ The Eastern Gate, 6389 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147 in Pauline’s memory.
