Paula passed away peacefully while surrounded by family and friends in her home in Granville, on December 31, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Lexington, KY, on July 21, 1951, to the late Robert and Nita Meyer.
She was the beloved wife of Tom. Together they shared a very special love for nearly 50 years. Paula is survived by husband, Tom; children, Tommy, Diane (Mike) Erwin-Doh and Terry (Tammy); three grandchildren, Tyler (Mandy), Terra (Shawn) Johnson and Max Doh; great granddaughter, Ryleigh; nephews, Johnny (Julie) Greever and Frankie (Holly) Greever; many great nieces and nephews; and aunts, Mary Jane Meyer and Susie Meyer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mikie.
Paula will be remembered for her strength, determination, work ethic, love for the Whitehall community, and her involvement with the Whitehall Citizens Police Academy. Prior to retirement, she worked for Chase Bank for many years. She enjoyed tending to her flower beds and garden, and most of all, the love she gave to all of her friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Paula, to Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Palliative Care Unit or to the Whitehall Citizens Police Academy.
