Paul Herman Lindig




Paul Herman Lindig, 93, of Baltimore passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011.

Paul was a 1935 graduate of Grove City High School and a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Grove City, where he was baptized, confirmed and married. He was a life-time member of the Motts Military Museum and served his country proudly in the US Army Company A 112th Medical Battalion 37th Division during World War II.

He is survived by wife of 60 years, Martha Walker Lindig; nieces and nephews; and special fishing buddy, Edward A. Boyer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Selma Lindig; brothers; and sisters.

Funeral services were held March 26, 2011, at Halteman- Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald L. Murdock and Warren Motts officiating. Burial followed at Betzer Cemetery, Carroll.

Contributions may be made in Paul’s memory to Motts Military Museum or St. John Lutheran Church, Grove City.
