A funeral service, celebrating the life of Paul Burke Zimmerman, Jr., 83, of Pataskala, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at The Full Armor of God Baptist Church, Reynoldsburg. Burial, with full military honors, will follow at Kirkersville Cemetery.
Paul died peacefully November 27, 2012, at his son’s home. He was born August 18, 1929, in Lima, the son of the late Paul and Gladys (Stover) Zimmerman. He served honorably in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of the Full Armor of God Church, and loved collecting old cars, including his favorite, the ‘69 Chevelle Super Sport.
Paul is survived by his loving family: his wife, Lerah K. Zimmerman, whom he married on October 15, 1953; his son, James (Robin) Zimmerman of Pataskala; his daughter, Paula Barnette of Baltimore; grandchildren, James (Adrienne) and Jimmy Zimmerman; and great-grandson, Paul.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012, at the Full Armor of God Baptist Church, 14454 E Broad St. in Reynoldsburg.
