A memorial service celebrating the life of Patricia Colleen Bottegal, age 77, of Hebron, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the Kirkersville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service. Friends may call from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville. Private inurnment will be held at Pataskala Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her parents.
Patricia was born August 3, 1941, in Columbus, to the late Homer Bayard and Esther Belle (Rittenhouse) Redhead. She passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018, at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio).
Patricia enjoyed tending to her flower garden, going to drag races and loved to dance. She was a fantastic cook and was known for her delicious chicken and dumplings and turkey dinners.
She is survived by four children, Debbie (Tim) Prushing of Orient, Charles (Sabine) Smith of Westerheim, Germany, Michelle (Brian) Bentley of Mechanicsburg and Hollie Bottegal of Hebron; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Lundhagen of Fairbanks, Alaska; several nieces and nephews; and her former husband, Ronnie Bottegal of Columbus.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Smith; and a sister, Paula Redhead.
