New supervisor takes over Buckeye Lake Library June 3

BUCKEYE LAKE – Ada Myers, who was the Buckeye Lake Library’s first supervisor, is being promoted.

She arrived in Buckeye Lake in July 2005 and opened the small branch on First Street in September 2005. She is moving June 3 to the main Licking County Library in downtown Newark as the new circulation supervisor.

Emily Hankinson will have responsibility for the Buckeye Lake branch beginning June 3. The Alexandria native has worked as a library substitute for a year and has experience at the Alexandria and Granville libraries. She graduated in May from Kent State University with a Masters in Library and Information Science. Hankinson’s undergraduate degree is from The Ohio State University.
