Nancy Jean Hook

Nancy Jean Hook, 60, of Baltimore, passed away Monday April 6, 2009, at her residence surrounded by loved ones.

Nancy was born in Hilliard on November 11, 1948, to the late Shelby and Dorothy Cramer Johnson. Nancy volunteered at the Cancer Thrift Store in Reynoldsburg, was a member of the Moose Lodge 2180, and was an OSU fan.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Floyd Hook; daughters, Tammy (Andy) Cote of Baltimore, and Tracy (Steve) Hall of Heath; brothers, Lloyd Shelby Johnson of Columbus, and Phillip R. Johnson of Reynoldsburg; grandchildren, Samantha Jean, Paul Joseph “PJ”, Stephen A., and Jeremy C.; and great-grandchild, Jeffrey Scott “Wazoo”.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Roger A. Johnson; and a sister, Nina Jane Brown.

Funeral service was held April 11, 2009, in the Johnson- Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Baltimore, with Pastor Terry Muncy officiating. Burial followed in the Violet Cemetery in Pickerington. Memorial gifts may be made to The Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd., Newark, Ohio 43055 in Nancy’s name.
