More support for Reamer for prosecutor

Editor:

I am a member of the Licking County Republican Central Committee and am also a city councilman in Pataskala. I am also a criminal trial attorney who appears daily in central Ohio courts.

Republicans in Licking County have a number of important races and issues in the upcoming primary. One of the most important is the contest for Licking County Prosecutor. I am enthusiastically endorsing Chris Reamer.

I have known Chris for several years in his capacity as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Licking County. He is an excellent attorney who has a wealth of experience prosecuting difficult criminal matters. As our elected Prosecutor, he will be able to not only advise and mentor his assistants, but conduct jury trials when necessary. Chris’s opponent has NO recent trial experience. In a small office such as Licking County’s, having a prosecutor with real courtroom experience is essential.

Chris has also developed an excellent reputation with our law enforcement community in Licking County, as shown by the endorsements of Sheriff Randy Thorp and current County Prosecutor Ken Oswalt. Our sheriff’s deputies and police officers want a prosecutor they know and trust. Chris Reamer is that prosecutor. Again, Chris’s opponent has NO recent prosecutorial experience.

Chris also has an excellent reputation among his fellow attorneys as a prosecutor who is fair, prepared and knowledgeable. Since Chris’s opponent spends most of his time in Columbus with his Capital Square pals, he is virtually unknown in the Courthouse Square in Newark.

We need a prosecutor with experience, energy and enthusiasm. We need a prosecutor that will be able to effectively lead the Prosecutor’s office on day one. We need a prosecutor who has already established an excellent reputation with law enforcement; fellow attorneys and judges.

That prosecutor is Chris Reamer. Please vote for Chris Reamer for County Prosecutor.

As always, whatever your political persuasion or position on the issues or candidates, get out and vote on March 15th.
