My wife and I have both resided in the Baltimore community until service in the U.S. Air Force moved us out the area for 10 years. Our family returned to Baltimore a couple years ago.
Since then, we have been impressed with Mayor Bob Kalish’s commitment to honoring Veterans of the armed forces during community ceremonies on both Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day. Now raising small children in the community, we are glad he has strengthened our police force to keep Baltimore safe for families. Our home is located adjacent to Basil Park so we appreciate the improvements to the playground equipment as well as the beautifully renovated community shelter house, both of which were funded through grant monies secured by Mayor Kalish.
Soon after we moved in to our neighborhood we also learned that Mayor Kalish is on the regional allocation committee for the Ohio Public Works Commission which was responsible for providing the funding to proceed with the repaving of the residential street we live on along with completing two other street repaving projects and water line improvements, all at no additional cost to us, the tax payer!
Mayor Kalish also shows he cares by taking the time to speak to us if he sees us out at the park or community events. His service oriented attitude and proven results evidenced by the project improvements around our neighborhood is why we are helping to Re-Elect Bob Kalish as Mayor of Baltimore this 3rd of November.
