Thank you seems to be inadequate to all of the people that made our new BMX track a reality. What started out as just an idea became one of the best tracks in the county.
I would like to personally thank Gregg and Mark from Good Times Construction for the design and overseeing the project and Jutt Wood from Downtown Cycles for donating a bike to be raffled. Many hours of labor were provided by Danny Hall, Gilbert Arnold, Frank Creed, Alex Foltz and Ray Goodwin.
The Millersport Fire Department hauled water and Wally Gabriel and Ed Sharp donated water tanks. The track must be kept watered to keep it from cracking. J
Joe Kaluzne made a substantial donation and Tonya Bucholtz coordinated efforts to raise donations locally. A corn hole tournament raised money through the efforts of Cynthia Thompson, Jane Baker, Debbi Popo and the Fraternal Order of Eagles (2801). A special thank you goes to Dr. Paul for donating the dirt to construct the track.
There were many young people who also donated their time to work on the track and an anonymous person donated helmets. This track was built solely on donations and generosity of the community.
