A Celebration of Life Service for Mary Jane Galiher, 62, of Hebron, was October 27, 2009, at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home, with Reverend Elaine J. Sturtz officiating. Mary Jane’s final resting place will be in Newark Memorial Gardens.
Mary Jane went to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 24, 2009, at the Odyssey Health Care in Gahanna. She was born on September 20, 1947, in Newark to the late Franklin Lee Noland and Madeline (Cecil) Holeman, of Newark.
Mary Jane enjoyed reading the Bible. She was devoted to her faith and loved praising the Lord. She also loved spending time with her family and doting over her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a faithful prayer partner.
In addition to her mother; survivors include her only son, Ronald L. Galiher, Jr. of Newark; three daughters, Tammi M. (Anthony) Goodman of New Port Richey, FL, Rebecca J. (Trent) Galiher-Jones of Safety Harbor, FL, and Marci L. (Tom) Ross of Newark; seven grandchildren, Cori “Iroc” Galiher, Jared “Baby Bear” Goodman, Nikki “Ree Ree” Grigsby, Zachary “Bubsie” Grigsby, Seth “Sethers” Goodman, Kayla “Tater Bug” Ross and Madeline “Boo” Jones; two sisters, Kathy (Larry) Lowery, Suzanne (Jack) Ellis, all of Newark; one brother, Franklin Noland, Jr. of Newark; two great grandchildren, Javonte Grigsby and Avery Grigsby; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and host of friends.
In addition to her father; she is preceded in death by her nurturing father, the beloved Willis Holeman.
