Lucille W. Jividen, age 86 of Baltimore, died after a long illness on April 13, 2014, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital.
She was born on August 15, 1927, in Southside, WV to the late Waid and Edith Welker,. She married Vance E. Jividen in 1950. They resided during most of their lives together in Baltimore. Lucille was active in the Beulah and Baltimore United Methodist Churches, in Sunday School, Baltimore VFW Post 3761 Ladies Auxiliary and Order of Eastern Star.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers; and a sister. She is survived by a sister; a brother; her son and his wife; daughter, stepdaughter and their husbands; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral service will be held Friday, April 18, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, Baltimore, with Rev. Branson Hawks officiating. Burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
