A graveside service, celebrating the life of Lovell Clyde Ginn, 86, of Johnstown, formerly of Newark, was held July 7, 2010, in the Concord Cemetery, Johnstown, with Pastor Bud Brown as celebrant.
He was born February 17, 1924, in Vanceburg, Kentucky, the son of the late Darwin and Maggie (Elliott) Ginn. He died Saturday evening, July 3, 2010, in Johnstown, following an extended illness.
He was retired from the Tectum Corporation in Newark after 30 years of service. He enjoyed rebuilding and tinkering with cars and was an outdoorsman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise in 1986; his brother, John; and his sister, Gladys Christy.
He is survived by his family: daughter. Glenda (Gary) Kurtz of Palmdale, CA; son, Dan (Caetana) Ginn of Pataskala; step-daughters, Oma Bratcher (Jesse) of Winter Haven, FL., and Patricia Stevens of Thornville; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; his brothers, William and Richard Ginn of Vanceburg, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
