Loralee R. “Lori” Corbin

A memorial service celebrating the life of Loralee R. “Lori” Corbin, age 56, of Buckeye Lake, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the Thornville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Art Minnihan officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 56 South Main Street in Thornville.
Lori was born May 23, 1962, in Columbus. She passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 1, 2019, at her home.
Lori enjoyed bowling, riding motorcycles, poker runs and playing pool with her husband and they also enjoyed participating in food drives as well as charity events for cancer awareness. Lori liked to watch soap operas, especially “The Guiding Light” and “As the World Turns,” She also liked to knit and crochet. Her family was very important to her and she loved to be surrounded by her grandchildren.
Lori is survived by a son, Jason Michael “Mike” Miller of Buckeye Lake; step-son, Christopher (wife, Dawn) Corbin of Zanesville; father, George Babcock of Grove City; a grandson whom she helped raise, Dominic Christopher Shults; grandchildren, Jason, Saige, Alyssa and Kairi; half brother, Lance Babcock; step-father, Darrell Riggs of Millersport; former husband, Patrick Miller of Thornville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clayton “Clay” Corbin, on October 20, 2018; daughter, Christina Miller on July 16, 2011; mother, Earlene (Walker) Babcock Riggs; and brothers, George, Steve and John Babcock.
