Leo Doyle Randolph

A funeral service celebrating the life of Leo Doyle Randolph, 86, of Heath was held August 22, 2007, in the chapel of Hoskinson Funeral Home, Kirkersville with Rev. Curtis Randolph officiating. Burial followed in Violet Cemetery, Pickerington.

Leo passed away August 18, 2007, at his home with his family by his side. He was born March 21, 1921 in Jackson County, West Virginia to the late William A. and Maggie (Miller) Randolph. He retired from Chessie System as a railroad bridge supervisor. During WWII, Leo served his country in the U.S. Army Infantry. Leo was a member of the railroad retirees. He enjoyed gardening and was an excellent finish carpenter. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix.

Surviving are his daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Don Cole of Reynoldsburg, Willadene and James Medley of Newark, Carolyn Tavenner of Hebron and Wilma Lee and Michael Abbruzzi of Birchtree, MO; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and his dearest companion, Doris Brown. In addition to his parents, Leo was preceded in death by his wife, Velva (Redman) Randolph; one daughter, Glenna Chapman; fivebrothers; and fivesisters.
