Walnut Township lost one its finest members with the passing of Ken Brotherton last week. I got to know Kenny when I became part of the Village of Millersport staff. Ken was a councilman at the time of my hiring. I found Kenny to be a calming voice whenever difficult issues came before council. As a lifelong resident of the Millersport area, Ken cared deeply about his hometown. He also served on the Walnut Township Board of Education paying forward to the district from which he graduated.
On behalf of the Walnut Township Board of Education and the Village of Millersport, I wish to extend our condolences to Claire and the Brotherton family. Thank you for your service in making Walnut Township a better place to live and raise children.
