Julia Ann Shields

Julia Ann Shields, 14, of Baltimore flew home with angels to be with her Lord on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

She was a student at Millersport Junior High School and a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her parents, Michael and Connie Shields; brothers, Cory Shields and Tristan Shields, all of Baltimore; grandparents, Roger and Cindy Ayers of Oklahoma and Arthur and Pat Carpenter of Newark; two great-grandfathers; a great-grandmother; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

She was preceded is death by her grandmother, Patricia A. Carpenter; great-grandparents, Alexander and Dorothy Martin and Milton B. and Beulah Ayers; and other family and friends.

Services were November 4, 2008, at First Baptist Church, 1950 Pleasantville Road N.E., Lancaster, with Dr. John Beckett officiating.Caring Cremation followed.

She was an organ donor and already has given the gift of life. Memorial gifts may be given to the Julia Shields Fund c/o Peoples Bank, 120 N. Main St., Baltimore, OH 43105.
