Joseph Vincent Mirto, 63, of Buckeye Lake, passed away with his loving wife by his side on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009.
He was born March 7, 1946, in Scranton, Pennsylvania to the late Vincent and Alice Mirto. He loved fishing and boating, the Ohio State Buckeyes, music and singing.
He is survived by his loving wife, Fran; daughter, Pam (Steve) Rowley; granddaughter, Stephanie Rowley, all of Buckeye Lake; mother-in-law (Mom), Josephine Courts of Millersport; brothers and sisters-in-law, Andy (Donnie) Dennison, Bill (Kay) Courts, both of Millersport, Gene (Lou) Courts of Newark, Rob (Sue) Cullen of Grove City, Butch (Alra) Courts of Columbus and Jack (Tina) Courts of Galliapolis; also surviving sisters, Joni, Mary and Lucille of Pennsylvania; many nieces, nephews and several friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his fatherin law, Russell Courts.
Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 16 at Boring-Sheridan Funeral Home in Hebron. Burial was in Obetz Cemetery in Columbus.
