John Pierre deSaavedra, 94, of Stockport, OH, passed away August 4, 2016 at his residence. He was born December 30, 1921, in Dayton, OH, to the late Garcia and Mary deSaavedra.
He was a long time resident of Outville, and enjoyed farming and spending time with friends and neighbors while operating Outville Farm Market. In later years, he achieved his goal of moving to Southern Ohio and starting his own business there as well.
He is survived by four sons, John deSaavedra of Pataskala, Joseph deSaavedra of Fairmount, Georgia, Michael deSaavedra of Pataskala and David deSaavedra of Stockport; three daughters, Mary McCoy of Portland, Oregon, Alice Keys of Santa Cruz, California and Elizabeth Romine of Stockport; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by wife, Helen Irene deSaavedra.
A cremation with care took place at his request. Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill handled the arrangements
