John Ernest Shryock

A funeral service for John Ernest Shryock, 68, of Hebron, was held October 6, 2018, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Dan Norris officiating.  Military honors were conducted by the Licking County Veterans Alliance. An inurnment will be held at a later date at Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette.

John, a retired corpsman with the US Navy, passed away October 2, 2018, at The OSU Medical Center.  He was born March 14, 1950, in Coshocton, to the late Elmer E. and Margaret E. (Crouso) Shryock. John was a Navy Veteran. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Kimpton) Wells of Hebron; sister, Diane Norris of Buckeye Lake; grandchildren, Cameron Mohler of Hebron, Alexis Mohler of Baltimore, and Janessa Wells of Hebron; great-grandson, Kameron Getz of Baltimore; nieces and nephews, Adam (Heather) Savoie, Jason (Krista) Norris, Sarah (Terrence) Weaver, Aaron (Sugye) Norris, and Amy Carter; eight great- nephews; one great-niece; two great-great nephews; and one great-great-niece.
