Jean A. Faryman, age 75 of Buckeye Lake, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at home. Jean was born on January 19, 1944, to Boyd B. and Wilma J. (Brewer) Simpson in Columbus. She worked for many years in retail at Schottensteins North and Walmart. She was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church and volunteered with the Mifflin Township Fire Department answering the phones. Jean loved to crochet, angels, word games and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Caroline and William Brewer; and brother, Mark Foaly. Jean is urvived by her loving husband of 56 years, Robert Faryman; children, Timothy (Teri), Kenneth (Pamela), James, Shelley (Johnny) Lake, Pamela McCarthy, Robert and Michael; 30 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; special care giver, Kesha Clark; adopted son, Ronald Washington; brother-in-law, Donald (Betsy) Faryman; and beloved dog, Chi Chew.
Family will receive friends from 4-7 pm on Thursday, February 28, 2019, at Heart and Hope Funeral Home by Schoedinger, 2741 Cleveland Ave., Columbus, OH 43224. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, March 1, 2019, at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, 2100 Aberdeen Ave., Columbus, OH 43211. Interment Mifflin Township Cemetery.
