Jacqueline June (Lindsey) Bastian




Jacqueline June (Lindsey) Bastian, 67 of Baltimore, and formerly of Ashville, died September 22, 2013. Jackie was the daughter of the late John J. and Mildred (Reed) Lindsey.

She was a member of the National Honor Society and a 1964 graduate of Teays Valley High School, Ashville. She and her high school sweetheart, Paul, were married November 2, 1968. In addition to her husband, Jackie is survived by two sons, Michael Warren and Matthew Balton (Shannon) Bastian; brother-in-law, David L. Bastian; sisters, Judith Carol Storts, Janice Jean Foote and Jeannine (James) Lawrie; sister-in-law, Vicky Love- Lindsey; grandchildren, Corey Percival, Alex Bastian, Dominic Bastian and Emma Bastian; uncles and aunts, Neil and Helen (Noice) Reed, Harold and Shirley (Roe) Reed, Eugene Reed, Betty (Burris) Reed; cousins, Steve (Connie) Reed, Donna (Robert) Walters, Dennis (Pat) Reed, Debby Reed, Pam Reed and Pat (Ian) Howard; and nieces and nephews, Christine (Storts) Thomas, Scott Storts, Cynthia (Storts) Kerns, Kelly (Foote) Green, Jennifer (Foote) Thompson, Tara (Trace) Richardson, Marcia (Trace) (John) Lassel, Thomas Eugene (Sarah) (Hussey) Trace, Mark (Lindsey) Trace, John Lindsey, Sherry (Roger) Plott, Candace (Lindsey) Sall, Mary Jo (Lindsey) McDonald and Michael (Lisa) Lawrie.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was predeceased by her sister, Jonda L. Trace and her husband, Thomas E. Trace; brothers, David E. Lindsey and Duane L. Lindsey and his wife, Nancy J. (Russell) Lindsey and their son, James Earl Lindsey; and a cousin, Sharon Reed. Jackie was a member of the Fairfield County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogy Society and a longtime volunteer at the genealogy library in Lancaster.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2013, in the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, 207 S. Main St., Baltimore, with burial to follow in Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield. Friends may visit Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
