Iris “Connie” Constance (Little) Brewer, age 76 of Lancaster, passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 17, 2018, at 3:17 pm at The Pickering House in Lancaster, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
Connie was born in Pikeville, Kentucky, on December 2, 1942, to James V. and Mary M. (Hobson) Little. She married the love of her life, Jack R. Brewer on October 14, 1960.
Connie’s passion was her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her family. She was an amazing person that would help anyone in need. Connie graduated from Virgie High School in Pikeville, Kentucky, in 1960. She was an employee for Lucent Technologies in Columbus, for many years from which she retired.
Connie was preceded in death by her father, James Little; mother, Mary (Hobson) Little; brother, James (Jimmy) Little; granddaughter, Ashley Brewer; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jack R. Brewer of Lancaster; two children, Caren (Rich) Wolfenbarker of Baltimore and Robin (Ed) Cox of Midlothian, Virginia; five grandchildren, Tangela Pfeifer, Craig Wolfenbarker, Eddy Cox, Shayna Teunissen and Allie Cox; nine great grandchildren, Corbyn, Madyson, Logan, Gunner, Xander, Braxten, Camden, Oliver and Bristol; three brothers, Mike (Carolyn) Little, Avery (Debbie) and Tim (Lora) Little; and many family members and friends.
Funeral services were held December 21, 2018, at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, Baltimore, with Pastor Avery K. Little officiating. Burial followed at Floral Hills Memorial Garden, Lancaster.
The family would like to thank everyone at The Pickering House in Lancaster, for their kindness to our family while we went through this very difficult time but most of all for the special care that given to our loved one.
