Horton R. Henderson

Horton R. Henderson, 77, of Baltimore went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Heartland- Fairfield Rehabilitation Center.

He was retired from Lancaster Colony Glass Corp. and was a Korean Conflict veteran serving in the US Army. He was a member of the New Beginnings Baptist Church and Baltimore VFW Post #3761.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margie M. Henderson; sons, Jeff (Jalinda) Henderson of Lancaster, Bill (Mary Jane) Henderson of Millersport, and Brian (Mariann) Henderson of Baltimore; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; sister, Margie (Russell) Ledgett of Lancaster; brothers, Cliffton (Judy) Henderson of Amanda, Floyd Henderson of Pleasantville, Bob (Dot) Henderson of Lancaster and Bill Henderson of Bremen; brothers in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lavere and Ina Henderson; brothers, Eddy and Frances Henderson, sister, Gay Ackison, and other infant siblings.

Services were held Dec. 31 in the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore.
