Harriet McNamee

Harriet McNamee, age 88, passed away from a short illness July 22, 2012, in Livermore CA. She was a devoted Christian, who loved her family, her church, and her Lord.

She was a loving wife of the late Charles “Mac” McNamee. Harriet was preceded in death by her sister, Betty; brother, Robert; and sister, Virginia.

She is mother to Mark Mc- Namee and Donna Ellis; mother in law to Janet; grandmother to Kelly Ellis, Jessica and Meghan McNamee; great grandmother to Daniel, and Colton Wright, Amber Foersterling; and great great grandmother to Daymin Walker. She has many nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends in the Millersport, Columbus, and Cincinnati area. Harriet is survived by a brother, Richard R. Thomas and wife, Dottie; brothers in law, Dan Miller and Jack Myers; and sister in law, Ann Thomas.

Harriet was very active in the United Methodist Church, The United Methodist Women’s Association, TWIG, and was active in Bible Study. She worked for 28 years as a Clerk for Mike Albert Auctioneers.

There will be Memorial Service at the Millersport United Methodist Church on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 12 noon, followed by a private graveside service at Union Evangelical Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in Harriet’s name to the American Cancer Society , National Kidney Foundation or charity of choice .
