BUCKEYE LAKE – New “With Love and Kisses” stamp leads to contests at the Buckeye Lake and Hebron post offices.

The new stamp issued last week features a Hershey’s Kisses chocolate and a red heart. Kisses were introduced in 1907 and have been available for 93 years, missing only 1942-49 when foil was rationed during World War II. Kisses, wrapped in red and silver foil were introduced in 1986 for Valentine’s Day.

Stop by the Buckeye Lake Post Officeto guess the number of kisses in the jar. The winner gets the jar and candy plus a book of 20 “With Love and Kisses” stamps.

The Hebron Post Office has filled a priority mail box with kisses. The winning guess receives the box and candy, a book of 20 “With Love and Kisses” stamps and a special issue stuffed bear. Hebron’s contest runs through February 9.
