George Alonzo McGlothlin

George Alonzo McGlothlin, 73, of Baltimore, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, at his residence. He was born Oct. 25, 1936, in Wilkesville to the late Clarence S. and Rosalie (Thomas) McGlothlin.

He was a member of Olivedale Senior Center and Charlie Chipper’s Wood Carving; he was a U.S. Army veteran and a life-long electrician.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 44 years, Mary L. Mc- Glothlin; sons, Maurice (Cheryl) McGlothlin of New Lexington, Wade (Jocie) McGlothlin of Thornville, Lonnie (Kelly) Mc- Glothlin of Baltimore; grandchildren, Nichole Runyon, Kristen McGlothlin, Karalea (Joel) Miracle, Ethan McGlothlin, Dalton Bitler, Madison McGlothlin; great-grandchildren, Richard Runyon Jr., Conner Runyon, Natalea Miracle; sister, Donna

Al) Tillman of Florida; brother, Steve McGlothlin of Columbus; and numerous nieces, nephews and very close friends.

Private memorial services were held at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home & Crematory in Pickerington, Pastor Bill Barber officiating. Memorials may be made to local food pantries in George’s memory.
