Gary Beckett

Gary Beckett, 59, Hebron, passed on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at home with his wife by his side. We are so proud of Gary for donating his body to The Ohio State Body Donor Program for future doctors/researchers to learn from.
He was born January 25, 1959, to the late Donald and Sally (Ziemer) Beckett. Gary was a 1977 graduate of Lakewood High School and a graduate of COTC. He was employed by Bayer/Covestro for 35 years. Gary was a passionate Ohio State fan and an avid golfer. Most of all he enjoyed his life with his canine children.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Tami (Bush) Beckett; his two shelter dog children. Jim and Huddy Beckett; his brother, Scott (Jeanette) Beckett; sister, Leslie Campbell; nieces, Aimee Beckett, Emily (Dave) Midgley and Brooke (Wes) Hoskinson; mother-in-law, Sandi (Henry) Rzempoluch; brother-in-law, Terry (Leann) Bush; nephews, Evan (Jen) Bush and Ryan (Kristie) Bush; and many great nieces and nephews and extended family.
Gary was proceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Jim Bush; brother-in-law, Rocky Campbell; and his lab children, Poco, Cinnamon Girl, Sally Ann, Cleveland, Drew, Brutus and Breana Beckett.
A celebration of life was held October 28, 2018, at the Hebron American Legion Post 28.
Our heart felt gratitude and thanks to Hospice of Central Ohio, The Ohio State Medical Campus including The James Cancer Center, The Brain and Spine Center and the Ross Heart Hospital. Because of the work you do, you blessed us with a few more years with Gary.
