As a council member for nine years from 1995-2004, the best years were when we had a government that worked together for progress and to see us prosper. I want to wish Jim Bartoe the best because he was a major force in the development.
Ms. Hileman just wrote a letter that was a laugh. There was more underhanded deals and hiring of anybody when her friend was in office. It was a revolving door of council people who were friends of theirs that had no idea about the village. Some of them are still there and have taken an interest in the village. That council almost bankrupted what money that the previous administration had saved.
I will always consider Buckeye Lake my home town wherever I may be.
