Florence E. Moore, 91, of Baltimore, died February 21, 2015, at her home. She was retired from the F&R Lazarus Company where she worked for many years in children/youth clothing departments.
She is survived by her daughter, Gretta Ware of Tucson, Arizona; son, Greg (Cindy) of Columbus; six grandchildren, Lynne Ware (Paul Robinson) of West Yorkshire, England, Lisa (Michael) Polletta of Tucson, Arizona, Megan Moore of Columbus, Brandon (Marcy) Moore of Boston, Massachusetts, Ashley (Steve) Turner of Pickerington, and Lindsay (Corey) Kirk of Pickerington; great grandson, Jennings Polletta of Tucson, Arizona; great-granddaughters, Madison and Hope Turner of Pickerington; nieces and nephews; and loving friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ray Moore; son, Jerry Moore; son-in-law, Doyle Ware; parents, George and Mary Tigner; brother, Harvey; sisters, Della, Ethel, Carrie; and several nieces and nephews. Her life was long and fruitful.
She will be remembered for her love of family and the pleasure that each new member brought, her strong sense of personal values, wonderful holiday family gatherings, beautiful handwork and an ongoing dedication to all aspects of gardening and yard projects. She is loved and will be forever missed.
